La prima volta che ho visto le parole Shabby Chic è stato casualmente proprio sfogliando una rivista di arredamento e incuriosita sono andata a cercare il suo significato su Google e così a poco a poco ho scoperto uno stile ed un modo nel quale mi sono trovata subito in sintonia e a poco a poco ho incominciato a trasformare la mia casa.

The first time that I saw the words Shabby Chic was on a house magazine, then I wrote the word on Google to know the menaning and I discover a style that is perfect for me and my husband and we startedo to change furniture.
Sono sposata da diversi anni e con mio marito abbiamo sempre cercato nelle nostre varie abitazioni di creare un clima caldo ed accogliente e partendo con il primo arredamento in stile moderno della prima casa ci siamo poi fatti influenzare dai toni caldi dello stile etnico per poi approdare finalmente allo shabby chic.
My husband and I wanted a warm and cozy atmosphere for home, we started with modern style for the first house than we had an ethnic influence to arrive to shabby chic definitively.
Quelle che vedete sono le immagini del soggiorno che ha subito una forte contaminazione shabby chic ma che non si è ancora del tutto trasformato. Rimangono infatti i segni ancora concreti dello stile etnico che siamo tenacemente convinti di trasformare al più presto.
The pictures are from living room where there are furniture in ethinic style but my husband and I are sure to change them in Shabby Chic as soon as possible.
Poter trasformare i nostri mobili nello stile che più gratifica il nostro senso estetico è un piacere che è diventato quasi uno stile di vita e grazie allo Shabby Chic la nostra casa è sempre in "work in progress"!

L'unica cosa di cui non posso proprio fare ameno sono alcuni elementi decorativi tipici della mia terra come le ceramiche di Castelli ed il ferro battuto, anche se non sono sono caratteristiche dello stile shabby chic.
Nelle immagini a seguire vi mostro la mia cucina dove la piattaia e l'étagère danno un piccolo tocco country chic.
There are two things that aren't Shabby Chic but that I love to have in my home, ceramic ware from Castelli and wrought-iron because they remember me my land.
