Prima e dopo & Shabby Chic on Friday

Oggi per la nostra rubrica desidero mostrarvi il mio ultimo esperimento.

Una consolle trasformata con la tecnica Shabby Chic.

Today I would like to show you my last experiment, a consolle turn into Shabby Chic.

Questa volta la novità è che ho usato la Chalk Paint.

The news is that I used for the first time the Chalk Paint.

Mi è sembrata una cosa davvero fantastica poter saltare la parte, noiosa, del carteggio!!

pitturare è molto più divertente :-)

Paint is more fun that sand so I'm thrilled to avoid the boring sand!! :-)

Ed ecco il risultato che non sarebbe venuto poi tanto male se alla fine non avessi usato una vernice di finitura che ha ingiallito il bianco :-( quindi amiche care, voi siete già tutte brave, ma se ci fosse qualcuna alle prime armi,come me, fate attenzione e se volete utlizzare una vernice di finitura dovete assicurarvi che non ingiallisca.

This is the final result and I'm pretty proud of it but the problem it was that I used a final paint that give a little yellow color at the white paint. If there is some beginners please keep attention to use a paint that don't give this problem.

Non c'è problema, per rimediare a questo problema darò un'ulteriore mano di CP che per la sua consistenza gessosa coprirà bene l'inconveniente.

Questa è la collocazione finale della mia consolle nella zona notte, vicino alle scale e alla mia camera da letto che avete visto nel precedente post.

Avete notato la lavanda nelle foto? è ormai alla fine della sua fioritura e così prima che i suoi fiori vengano raccolti e conservati nei barattoli (come quello sopra la consolle) vi mostro qualche scatto del mio giardino in un pomeriggio di questa torrida estate.

Did you see the lanvander in the pictures? The blooming is at the end and before I keep all the flowers in the jar I take some pictures from my garden in this boiling hot summer.

Kelly Harmon & Shabby Chic on Friday

Kelly Harmon (Los Angeles) è una designer a livello internazionale. Lo stile Harmon combina elementi estremamente semplici con mobili d'epoca ed incorpora struttura architettonica, design esterno e del paesaggio, il risultato sono ambienti estremamente eleganti ma rilassanti. Chi abita queste dimore è liberato dalla pressione della vita moderna mettendo in risalto uno stile di vita semplice.

Adoro l'armonia e l'equilibrio che trovo in queste immagini tra un eleganza fresca e luminosa e stile di vita semplice.

Semplicemente Shabby & Shabby Chic on Friday

Case come questa rappresentano, secondo me, l'essenza dello Shabby Chic. Gli ambienti sono semplici, funzionali, bianchi ma con qualche tocco femminile e romantico ed il colore bianco è il re in ogni ambiente.

Home like these are the essence of the Shabby Chic. The rooms are simply and functional, with some feminine and romantic touch and the white color is the king everywhere.

La semplicità, il calore, qualche tocco di colore naturale ed azzurro qua e là ed il mio sguardo è catturato instancabilmente permettendomi di osservare ogni piccolo dettaglio.

The simplicity, the warm and some natural and azure color capture my attention and I can see every single detail.
