Questo magnifico panorama e' quello che si gode dal terrazzo dei miei amici Cissi e Tomas che da Stoccolma si sono trasferiti nella bella Lanciano ristrutturando una casa nel centro storico. La passione e l'amore con la quale si sono dedicati a questa opera mi lasciano ammirata perche' sappiamo quanta pazienza ci vuole per riportare alla luce tesori trascurati nel tempo.
I saw this magnificent landscape from the terrace of my friend Cissi and Tomas that from Stockolm they move to Lanciano where had renovated house in historical centre. They dedicated at this work with passion and love and I admire they because we know how patients need to do this hard work.
Non e' stata un'impresa semplice, i lavori sono stati piu' lunghi del previsto e le sorprese ed i cambi di programma erano all'ordine del giorno.
It wasn't simple because the work were more longer than estimation and the surprises and changed programs were everyday.
Ma eccoci qui finalmente a godere di questo spettacolo in un caldo pomeriggio di novembre. I padroni di casa possono ritenersi soddisfatti perchè i loro sforzi sono stati ripagati ampiamente dal piacere di vivere un un posto cosi unico.
Finally we are here to be astonish in a warm November afternoon. Cissi and Tomas can be satisfied because their effort are repay from the pleasure to live in a very special place.
Io stessa non potevo credere ai miei occhi, non avevo mai visto Lanciano da questa prospettiva e le foto non rendono giustizia (un grandangolo avrebbe reso meglio l'idea). Per bearmi di tanta bellezza ho chiesto a Cissi e Tomas di gustare il nostro the in terrazza nonostante la stagione, così sono stata definita un 'Italian outsider' e ne sono orgogliosa perche' a detta loro nessun italiano avrebbe mai fatto una richiesta del genere e da italiana posso confermarlo!
I never saw Lanciano from this perspective and the pictures are not able to show all the beauty. I asked them to stay on the terrace to drink our tea and they was so suprised from my request that they called me 'Italian outsider' and I'm proud of it. They say that Italian peoples never had ask to stay there in nonvember and I'm agree with them.
